Pedro Boese's book parallel I–XXX presents a series of prints with the same title, which he worked on from 2020 to 2024. In this series he combines classic relief printing techniques such as linocut and woodcut with various techniques from the area of intaglio printing.
The range of forms, limited to circles, overlaps in many ways, mirroring and adding each other on the surface to create new and surprising compositions. The application of colour varies depending on the printing technique and sometimes breaks off completely in areas, creating a free interplay with astonishingly lively and at the same time stable, beautifully shaped results.
The book is published by permanentverlag with essays by Alexia Timmermans and Ludwig Seyfarth - 72 pages, Swiss brochure, D/EN, 150 copies.
